Role Overview
The Clinical Nurse Coordinator (CNC) is responsible for ensuring the delivery of high-quality, patient-focused care and overseeing all operational functions within the unit during their designated shift.
In collaboration with the management team, the CNC will:
- Direct, monitor, and assess nursing care in alignment with established protocols.
- Serve as a resource for nursing staff, embodying the organization's mission and values.
- Facilitate efficient admission and discharge processes to enhance patient care quality.
- Engage in continuous evaluation of patient care services in partnership with management.
- Support initiatives aimed at improving staff engagement and patient satisfaction.
- Contribute to the recruitment, training, and development of new nursing staff.
- Manage staff scheduling and labor resources in accordance with patient care demands.
- Assist in inventory management and the procurement of necessary supplies and equipment.
Qualifications
To be considered for this role, candidates should possess:
- A minimum of 2 years of acute care RN experience.
- A Bachelor's Degree, Registered Nurse Diploma, or Associate Degree.
