Job Summary:
We are seeking qualified candidates for our part-time lecturer pool in the School of Theatre, Television and Film at San Diego State University. The successful candidate will have expertise or experience in teaching and mentoring students in the areas of acting, directing, choreography, musical theatre, scene, costume, lighting, sound and projection design, playwriting, dramaturgy, youth theatre, screenwriting, cinematography, film production, history and critical studies in theatre, television, and film, new media production, and editing.
Responsibilities:
- Teach courses in the School of Theatre, Television and Film, including acting, directing, choreography, and other related areas.
- Mentor students in the development of their skills and knowledge in the field.
- Contribute to the development of curriculum and programs in the School of Theatre, Television and Film.
- Participate in departmental and university service activities.
Qualifications:
- Ph.D., MFA, or MA in any relevant area of theatre, television, film, and new media production.
- Some university teaching or relevant professional industry experience.

Salary and Benefits:
