About the Role

We are seeking a compassionate and detail-oriented Nursing Assistant to join our team at Avamere Communities. As a Nursing Assistant, you will play a vital role in ensuring the comfort and well-being of our residents.

Responsibilities
  • Conduct routine checks to ensure residents' personal care needs are met in accordance with their wishes.
  • Review care plans daily to identify any changes in residents' daily care routines.
  • Inform the Nurse Supervisor of any changes in residents' conditions.
  • Assist residents with daily needs, including preparation for activities and social programs.
  • Transport residents to and from appointments.
  • Maintain a warm and welcoming environment.
  • Ensure residents' rooms are ready for receiving and make them comfortable.
  • Participate in facility surveys by authorized government agencies.
Qualifications
  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Completed Nursing Assistant class and in the process of obtaining Certification.
  • Maintain confidentiality of resident care information in accordance with HIPAA guidelines.
  • Effective communication skills to share resident information with Charge Nurses, Director of Nursing, and Administrator.
