Nursing Assistant Job Description

We are seeking a compassionate and detail-oriented Nursing Assistant to join our team at Avamere Living. As a Nursing Assistant, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality care to our residents, ensuring their physical, emotional, and social needs are met.

Responsibilities:
  • Conduct routine checks to ensure residents' personal care needs are met in accordance with their wishes.
  • Review care plans daily to determine if changes have been made and inform the Nurse Supervisor accordingly.
  • Assist residents with daily needs, including preparation for activities and social programs, and transportation to appointments.
  • Create a warm and welcoming environment, ensuring residents feel comfortable and supported.
  • Participate in facility surveys and maintain confidentiality of resident care information.
Qualifications:
  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Completed Nursing Assistant class and in the process of obtaining Certification.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and effectively communicate with Charge Nurses, Director of Nursing, and Administrator.
