Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Assistant Director of Dining Services to join our team at Compass Group Careers. As a key member of our food service operations team, you will be responsible for assisting with the day-to-day management of our dining services, including leading a team of associates, managing client relationships, and supporting financial goals.

Key Responsibilities
  • Work closely with the Chef and management team to develop and implement new culinary programs and menus.
  • Manage and train a team of associates to ensure excellent customer service and high-quality food preparation.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients to ensure their needs are met and exceeded.
  • Assist with budgeting and financial planning to support the financial goals of the dining services department.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by management.
Requirements
  • 1-3 years of experience in food service management, preferably in a medium to large volume location.
  • Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to motivate and train a team of associates.
  • Experience in restaurants, hotels, corporate dining, education, military, health care, and/or related food service operations.
  • Financial experience and business acumen skills, with the ability to analyze data and make informed decisions.
  • Proficient computer skills and knowledge of MS Office products, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, and internet.
