The Opportunity

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Systems Engineer to join our team at Booz Allen Hamilton. As a leader in systems engineering, you will play a critical role in shaping the Air Force by leading acquisition processes, systems engineering efforts, and modification programs.

Your ability to translate real-world needs into technical specifications will make you an integral part of delivering a customer-focused engineering solution. You will work closely with customers to understand their environment and develop the right systems for their mission.

As a senior systems engineer, you will be responsible for leading complex engineering projects, developing technical specifications, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality solutions.

Requirements
  • 8+ years of experience as an engineer supporting the Air Force or DoD
  • Knowledge of DoD acquisition processes, system program office operations, and weapon system and support organizations
  • Knowledge of Airworthiness, OSS&E, and Systems Engineering processes
  • Top Secret clearance
  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering
  • Nice to have: experience with MIL-HDBK-516C and AFI 63-101/20-101, ability to work flexibly across multiple projects, and possession of excellent verbal and written communication skills
Clearance

Applicants selected will be subject to a security investigation and may need to meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information; Top Secret clearance is required.

Salary at Booz Allen Hamilton is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual's particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements.

The projected compensation range for this position is $96,600.00 to $220, annualized USD. The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of our total compensation package for employees.

Work Model

We prioritize the benefits of flexibility and collaboration, whether that happens in person or remotely. If this position is listed as remote or hybrid, you'll periodically work from a Booz Allen or client site facility. If this position is listed as onsite, you'll work with colleagues and clients in person, as needed for the specific role.
