Job Summary:

  • We are seeking a skilled Patient Care Associate to join our team in the Emergency Department Acute Psychiatry Service.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide direct care and support to patients experiencing a wide range of acute psychiatric conditions.
  • Observe and report any changes in patients' mental status, behavior, or physical condition.
  • Maintain accurate and timely documentation of patient care activities.
  • Contribute to maintaining a safe and therapeutic environment.
  • Work closely with the multidisciplinary team in managing crisis situations.

Requirements:

  • Effective customer service orientation and the ability to interact with diverse groups of patients, staff, and providers.
  • Demonstrated ability to solve basic patient and practice problems using strong interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Must have recent experience or training in clinical patient care.
  • Licensed, certified, or enrolled in a Nursing Assistant or related program.
