Grant Specialist Opportunity

The Southeast Tennessee Development District is seeking a highly skilled Grant Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our staff, you will be responsible for researching and writing state and federally funded projects, as well as administering projects and serving as a liaison to state and federal programs.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Research and write grant proposals to secure funding for projects
  • Administer grant projects, including monitoring compliance with federal and state regulations
  • Develop and maintain relationships with local governments and other stakeholders
  • Conduct on-site audits and analyses of grant projects to ensure compliance
  • Make recommendations for improvements to grant recipients

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university
  • OR equivalent professional experience
