Job Summary

The Senior HR Technology Analyst is a key member of the CME Group team, responsible for the analysis, design, development, and implementation of Workday HCM system, policies, and related processes. This role requires a strong understanding of HR systems and data, specifically with Workday HCM, as well as excellent communication and collaboration skills.

Key Responsibilities
  • Project Leadership: Partner with HR and Technology teams to lead Workday HCM system-related projects, including system upgrades, enhancement packages, releases, and process redesign.
  • System Analysis: Conduct system and process analysis throughout implementation lifecycles and for ongoing support and scalability of Workday HCM and supporting integrations.
  • HR Technology Advisory: Advise HR teams, including subject matter experts and leadership, on strategic and ad-hoc HR technology requests, providing best practice information for efficacy and compliance purposes.
  • System Administration: Administer Workday HCM and other HR's SaaS (Software as a Service) systems configuration and security, as well as system process flow maps for all HR system processes.
  • Configuration Evaluation: Facilitate configuration evaluation and review with other team members and stakeholders to ensure consistency, efficient use of each Workday module, and innovative use of technology.
  • Data Integration: Administer Workday HCM supporting data integrations and system authentication, ensuring system stability, security compliance, and expeditious resolution for high-impact issues.
  • System Testing: Conduct and facilitate complex Workday HCM system testing, identify discrepancies, and formulate remediation plans.
  • Compliance: Serve as a partner to Global Assurance, Financial Controls, and Corporate Compliance to document, test, and remediate compliance-related matters.
  • Technology Development: Lead the design and process development of leading-edge technologies to support the global HR team, ensuring country-specific compliance to local regulatory standards.
  • Communication and Training: Develop and present HR Technology-related communications and training.
Job Qualifications
  • Experience: 3-5 years of experience with HR systems and data, specifically with Workday HCM.
  • Technical Skills: 3+ years of experience with hands-on Workday HCM design, configuration, security, and reporting. Workday Recruiting & Talent & Performance skills highly preferred.
  • Soft Skills: Advanced Excel or Sheets experience required. Strong communications skills, written and verbal. Flexible, with the ability to lead multiple projects and prioritize tasks as necessary.
