We are seeking an experienced administrative professional to join our prestigious White 6 Orthopedic medical unit at Massachusetts General Hospital as a Unit Coordinator.

As a Unit Coordinator, you will play a critical role in patient care by serving as the central source of information, communicating with patients, families, and medical staff. You will also be responsible for transcribing medical charts, ordering supplies, and performing transcription, clerical, and reception duties.
You will work under the direction of the Nurse Manager or designee to coordinate the non-nursing/non-clinical activities essential to the effective functioning of the nursing unit. This requires a high degree of accuracy and strong communication skills.
Requirements- High School Diploma or GED: A high school diploma or equivalent is required.
- Medical or Healthcare Experience: Medical or healthcare experience is desirable, but not required.
- Basic Computer Skills: Basic computer skills and the ability to learn new systems and procedures.
- Effective Interpersonal and Communication Skills: Strong customer service orientation and the ability to interact with diverse groups of patients, staff, and providers.
