Role Responsibilities:
The Strategic Partnerships Coordinator will play a crucial role in broadening Poynter's custom training initiatives by:
1. Assessing client needs and aligning them with Poynter's offerings.
2. Drafting and managing agreements to ensure timely execution.
3. Nurturing existing client relationships while identifying new opportunities.
4. Supporting fundraising efforts for key events, including signature fundraising initiatives.

Candidate Profile:
The ideal candidate may possess a background in journalism, demonstrating organizational skills and a willingness to learn about the business aspects, or have a sales or business background with an understanding of journalism's current landscape.

Key Qualifications:
- Minimum of three years in partnership development, journalism, education, or related fields with a proven success record.
- A college degree is preferred.
- Strong project management capabilities to handle multiple initiatives concurrently.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for effective collaboration with diverse stakeholders.
- Familiarity with journalism industry trends and emerging technologies.
- A passion for journalism education and a commitment to Poynter's mission.

Compensation and Benefits:
In addition to a competitive salary, we offer exceptional professional development opportunities, a generous parental leave policy, and paid time off during the last two weeks of the calendar year.

Work Arrangement:
This position is primarily remote, with considerations based on relevant experience.

Salary Range:
$57,000 - $62,000, negotiable based on experience.
