Business Development Associate

SWIM USA, a leading designer and manufacturer of women's swimwear in New York City, seeks an experienced Associate Account Manager to join its sales team. With over 84 years of history, the company is dedicated to delivering high-quality products and exceptional customer service.
Key Responsibilities:
- Participate in all sales meetings, document conversations, and distribute necessary information to cross-functional teams.
- Manage new account setup requirements, including forms, vendor agreements, insurance documents, and more.
- Analyze market pricing trends through online and in-store research to ensure competitive pricing.
- Collaborate with the Product Manager and Sales Support to guarantee compliance with retailer requirements for packaging materials, tickets, and packing.
- Review online product information to ensure accuracy and analyze customer reviews.
- Fulfill sample requests, including advertising, TOP, and market samples, and maintain a 'samples out' listing.
- Communicate order changes, confirmations, bulk adjustments, and track packages to and from customers or meetings.
Requirements:
Bachelor's degree preferred, minimum 2 years of sales experience in the apparel industry, strong computer skills (Microsoft Office), Excel report design, and retail math knowledge.
Estimated annual salary: $65,000 - $85,000, based on industry standards and location.
