About the Role

As a Patient Services Representative at Advent, you will be the face of our organization, interacting with patients at various stages of their treatment journey. Your primary responsibility will be to provide exceptional patient care and support, ensuring a seamless experience for our patients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Greet patients and accurately check them into our Electronic Health Record (EHR) system using established protocols.
  • Order Sleep Study devices and upload sleep study reports into our system.
  • Review future clinic schedules to ensure insurance and necessary patient documentation is up-to-date.
  • Schedule patient appointments and answer call center calls to provide overflow coverage as needed.
  • Own the opening and closing of the clinic, ensuring all necessary tasks are completed.
  • Responsible for ensuring documentation is accurately completed, patient payments are received, and working with the clinic team to maintain daily schedules.
  • Order medical supplies and pharmaceuticals as needed, following established protocols.
  • Cross-train as a Care Coordinator or Medical Assistant, depending on clinic needs.
Requirements
  • Prior medical experience is preferred.
  • Proven ability to independently apply best practices in time management.
  • Proven ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
  • Prior experience and/or desire to work in a role held accountable to quality performance metrics.
  • Strong customer service focus.
  • Solid technology skills, including Outlook, Word, Excel, and Electronic Health Records.
  • Great attention-to-detail and accuracy in work.
  • Solution-oriented problem solver.
  • Strong work ethic, commitment to teamwork, and positive attitude.
