Job ResponsibilitiesAs a Tax Administrative Assistant, you will be responsible for:
- Processing and assembling tax returns with accuracy and attention to detail
- Organizing and scanning work papers using office technology
- Entering and verifying data using internet-based software programs
- Comparing data sets to ensure consistency
- Processing engagement letters and other client-related documents
- Identifying opportunities to improve processes and create efficiencies
- Prioritizing workflow and deadlines while practicing good time and project management skills
- Interacting professionally with internal and external clients while handling inquiries effectively and in an organized and courteous manner
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- A high school diploma or equivalent
- Minimum 2 years of administrative experience, with proficiency in Microsoft Office and the ability to learn new computer programs quickly
While not required, previous experience in a professional services/CPA firm is a plus.
