SHIFT SCHEDULE: Between Hours of 6:30AM - 8:30PM (Variable Shifts; Including Alternating Weekends)

The Department of Food Services presents an exciting opportunity for a Full Time Senior Culinary Service Associate position. The Senior Culinary Service Associate is responsible for preparing a diverse range of food items following established preparation techniques as directed by supervisory staff. Additionally, this role involves performing standard food service tasks, including sanitation responsibilities and various serving duties, while ensuring compliance with food handling procedures and regulatory standards at all times.

CORE JOB FUNCTIONS:
  • Delivers and serves food items promptly and efficiently.
  • Keeps the work area and facilities in a clean and orderly condition.
  • Operates equipment and maintains proper working conditions.
  • Oversees and mentors junior staff members.
  • Monitors related laundry services and manages food purchasing and inventory.
  • Prepares special requests under the guidance of senior personnel.
  • Receives food supplies and stores them appropriately.
  • Assists in menu planning or modifications.
  • Adheres to University and departmental policies and procedures, safeguarding University assets.

  • High School diploma or equivalent
  • Minimum 2 years of relevant experience
