We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Executive Chef to join our culinary team at Hotel Resource. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for assisting with the direction and oversight of all culinary operations to deliver outstanding guest service and financial profitability.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist the Executive Chef in the direction and oversight of all culinary operations, including preparation and production of all hotel meals, food quality and presentation, compliance with all safety and sanitation standards and regulations, team member productivity and performance, implementation of policies and procedures, cost controls and overall profitability.
  • Create and implement menu selections for special banquet themes and events based on current food trends and regional tastes in partnership with the Executive Chef and Director of Food and Beverage.
  • Ensure compliance with federal, state, local and company health, safety, sanitation and alcohol awareness standards.
  • Assist in monitoring and developing team member performance, including providing supervision, conducting counseling and assisting with evaluations, training, scheduling and assigning work and delivering recognition and reward.

Requirements

  • Proven experience in a similar role, preferably in a hotel or hospitality environment.
  • Strong leadership and management skills, with the ability to motivate and develop a team.
  • Excellent culinary skills and knowledge of food trends and presentation.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with colleagues and external partners.
