Job Summary

We are seeking a highly qualified Clinical Faculty member to join our Urology department at Augusta University. The ideal candidate will have extensive surgical training in general urology and a strong commitment to teaching and research.

Responsibilities
  • Attend to patients and provide high-quality clinical care
  • Teach residents and medical students in the department
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of departmental policies and procedures
  • Engage in service activities and participate in departmental and university-wide committees
  • Have the opportunity to engage in clinical and basic science research
Requirements
  • MD/DO degree or equivalent
  • Board certification or eligibility in Urology
  • Assistant Professor: Early level career as a faculty member with appropriate postgraduate training
  • Associate Professor: Mid-level career faculty member with at least five years at the rank of Assistant Professor or comparable training, background, and experience
  • Professor: Senior level career faculty member with at least five years at the rank of Associate Professor or comparable training, background, and experience
