OVERVIEW:

OBJECTIVE OF POSITION:
To ensure the precise processing of shipments in a timely manner while adhering to the operational policies of Kintetsu World Express (U.S.A.), Inc. (KWE).

Paid Time Off (PTO)


PTO begins accruing for eligible new hires on their first day of employment, subject to accrual caps.

Paid Holidays

New employees are entitled to all mandatory and optional holidays remaining for the calendar year.

New hires starting after January 1 are limited to a maximum of twelve (12) paid holidays for that calendar year.

Retirement Savings Plan

401(k) Plan with employer match of 50 cents for each employee dollar, subject to the current vesting schedule.

Student Loan Support

Eligible for assistance after three (3) months of continuous employment, pending verification.

Company contributes $437.50 monthly, not exceeding an annual total of $5,250.00.


Employees participating in both Student Loan Assistance and Tuition Reimbursement Programs are subject to a combined maximum annual amount of $5,250.00 for both programs.

Tuition Reimbursement

Eligibility after three (3) months of continuous employment.

Reimbursement capped at $5,250.00 per employee per calendar year.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND

RESPONSIBILITIES:


Manage daily pre-alerts and shipping documentation in accordance with branch and customer specifications to ensure timely arrival notifications prior to flight arrival.

Daily

Coordinate with carriers for on-board confirmations to track consolidation movements, Daily.

Process advance payments for Import Service Fees (ISF) to either Carrier or Cargo Freight Station, utilizing Cargosprint or carrier vouchers before flight arrival to facilitate prompt shipment release to designated vendors and avoid storage fees.

Maintain a detailed consolidation board to monitor freight arrivals and document preparation. Daily.


Create and manage consolidation file folders containing necessary information as per import Standard Operating Procedures (SOP), maintaining copies of airline payments (Cargosprint, voucher copies, or draft checks) on a daily basis.

Arrange for daily consolidation document pickups.

Break down daily consolidation pouches. Daily

Input shipment data into the Unified Freight System (UFS), release documents, and finalize files. Daily

Transfer documentation to the Brokerage department or designated customer broker. Daily.

Coordinate dispatch with truckers for deliveries, Daily.

Update milestones in UFS, Daily.

Inspect cargo conditions at the Warehouse or Airport as necessary.
