Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Logistics Claims Specialist to join our team at Transcend Solutions. As a key member of our logistics department, you will be responsible for managing the resolution of claims and ensuring timely closure to minimize impact on operations and inventory management.

Key Responsibilities
  • Collaborate with Carriers, Customer Support, Security, Operations, Accounting, and Supply Chain to resolve claims efficiently.
  • Research and obtain supporting documentation to support claims resolution.
  • Make recommendations on the best course of resolution and file claims with carriers.
  • Develop strong working relationships with logistics teams, business teams, and insurance companies.
  • Target claims closure within established KPI windows.
  • Submit claims with all relevant documentation, accurately and on time.
Requirements
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience processing transportation and warehouse claims, preferably in a small parcel environment.
  • Undergraduate Degree in Business, Supply Chain, Logistics, or similar.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite, including Excel, Outlook, and Word.
  • Experience in SAP is a plus.
  • Ability to navigate claims databases and exhibit strong analytical, organizational, problem-solving, and creative thinking skills.
  • Excellent social and communication skills, with the ability to effectively prioritize workload in a fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to interact with all levels of management, including executives.
