Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Part-Time Financial Services Associate I to join our team at Sierra Central Credit Union. As a key member of our branch team, you will provide exceptional member service, promote credit union services, and contribute to achieving branch and individual sales goals.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide accurate, prompt, and professional member service while promoting credit union services.
  • Actively participate in branch efforts to meet or exceed assigned production goals.
  • Communicate effectively with members, colleagues, and supervisors to ensure seamless service delivery.
  • Perform accurate and complex input/output functions on credit union computer systems.
  • Travel to other branches as business needs dictate, sometimes on short notice.
  • Maintain a satisfactory performance record, including balancing, attendance, and sales referrals.
  • Ensure security of all cash, deposited items, and negotiable instruments.
  • Answer the telephone in accordance with established phone answering sequence and service quality script.
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Familiarity with basic computer functions and programs.
  • Previous cash handling experience and working knowledge of Microsoft Office programs preferred.
  • Successful completion of required training courses per the Career Path Program.

  • Continuous standing or sitting for up to 8 hours per day.
  • Reach across the teller station counter to comfortably count out/hand cash to members.
  • Intermittent bending, squatting, and walking.
  • Lifting up to 25 pounds.
Salary and Benefits

Starting pay is $20.38 an hour depending on experience, along with a great choice of benefits for full-time and part-time employees.
