Job Summary

The Medical University of South Carolina is seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Clinical Staff Leader to join our team. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional patient care and leading our clinical staff to deliver high-quality patient outcomes.

Responsibilities

  • Provide direct patient care and lead a team of registered nurses and other healthcare professionals to deliver high-quality patient outcomes.
  • Develop and implement effective care plans to meet the unique needs of our patients.
  • Collaborate with other healthcare disciplines to ensure seamless patient care and optimal outcomes.
  • Lead and mentor clinical staff to enhance their skills and knowledge, and to promote a culture of excellence and teamwork.
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives to identify areas for improvement and implement evidence-based practices.

Requirements

  • Current licensure as a registered nurse by the South Carolina Board of Nursing or a compact state.
  • Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association or equivalent.
  • One year of work experience as a registered nurse required, with certification in a specialty area preferred.
  • Ability to work rotating shifts, including evenings, nights, and weekends, as required.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks and responsibilities.
