Job Overview

The Goddard School of Riverside, CA is seeking a dedicated and passionate Lead Teacher to join our team. As a key member of our educational community, you will play a vital role in shaping the minds of our young students and helping them grow into confident and capable learners.

Responsibilities
  • Coordinate daily operations of assigned classes, ensuring a safe and engaging learning environment for all students.
  • Plan, present, and evaluate educational and recreational activities that promote cognitive, social, and emotional development.
  • Work closely with children and parents to provide exceptional customer service and support their educational journey.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to develop creative and effective lesson plans that cater to diverse learning styles.
  • Communicate effectively with parents through various channels, including mobile apps and personal discussions, to keep them informed about their child's progress.
Requirements
  • Associate or Bachelor of Arts in Early Childhood Education or a related field is preferred.
  • Child Development Associate (CDA) certification is also preferred.
  • A minimum of 12 college credits in Early Childhood Studies is required.
  • 1-2 years of previous experience in early childhood education is preferred.
  • Must have successfully completed state-required pre-service training.
  • Ability to develop strong relationships with children, parents, and faculty members.
  • Capacity to address stressful situations professionally while multitasking to ensure smooth school operations.
  • Physical ability to lift up to 50 lbs. in connection with handling children and ensuring their safety.
  • Meets background check eligibility.
