REMOTE POSITION

PRIMARY PURPOSE:
To assist the claims team and perform various administrative tasks based on client requirements.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS and RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Establishes and inputs new claims into the claims management system.
  • Reviews and documents notes/diaries in the claims management system as directed.
  • Processes financial transactions.
  • Manages incoming mail; performs filing, faxing, and photocopying tasks.
  • Drafts, prepares, and sends letters, reports, and forms.
  • Handles phone communications, schedules medical appointments, and provides customer service as needed.
  • Engages in additional projects as assigned, including generating and distributing reports.

ADDITIONAL FUNCTIONS and RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Undertakes other duties as assigned.
  • Contributes to the organization’s quality initiatives.

QUALIFICATIONS
Education & Licensing
  • High school diploma or GED is required.
Experience
  • Minimum of six (6) months of clerical or customer service experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience is required.
Skills & Knowledge
  • Exceptional oral and written communication skills.
  • Proficient in PC applications, including Microsoft Office.
  • Strong organizational abilities.
  • Capacity to collaborate effectively within a team.
  • Able to meet or exceed performance standards.

WORK ENVIRONMENT
Consideration will be given to reasonable accommodations when applicable.

Requires clear and conceptual thinking, excellent judgment, and the ability to manage work-related stress while handling multiple priorities and meeting deadlines.
Physical:
Involves computer keyboarding and travel as necessary.
Auditory/Visual:
