Job Summary

Concentra is seeking a highly skilled Physician Center Medical Director to lead our occupational medicine team. As a key member of our leadership team, you will be responsible for driving clinical excellence, improving patient outcomes, and promoting a culture of safety and quality.

Key Responsibilities
  • Leadership and Clinical Excellence
    • Develop and implement clinical strategies to improve patient outcomes and reduce healthcare costs
    • Collaborate with clinicians and support staff to ensure seamless delivery of care
    • Monitor and analyze clinical metrics to identify areas for improvement
  • Staff Management and Development
    • Recruit, train, and develop a high-performing team of clinicians and support staff
    • Provide coaching and feedback to ensure staff are meeting performance expectations
    • Develop and implement training programs to enhance clinical skills and knowledge
  • Operational Excellence
    • Develop and implement operational strategies to improve efficiency and reduce costs
    • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless delivery of care
    • Monitor and analyze operational metrics to identify areas for improvement
  • Communication and Collaboration
    • Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients, payers, and other stakeholders
    • Communicate effectively with clinicians, support staff, and leadership to ensure seamless delivery of care
    • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to achieve business objectives
Requirements
  • Education and Certifications
    • Graduate of an accredited medical program with a M.D. or D.O.
    • Board certified by ABPM, ABFM, or medical board in the state where employed
    • Licensure requirements of the state of jurisdiction
  • Experience
    • Five to eight years of experience in occupational medicine, urgent care, or an emergency setting
  • Skills and Competencies

    • Ability to make decisions or solve problems using logic and critical thinking
    • Outstanding customer service skills and ability to deal with people in a professional manner
