The Chateau Girardeau is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Chef to join our culinary team. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional food and service to our residents, guests, and staff.
- Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare high-quality food items according to standardized recipes or instructions in a fast and efficient manner to meet production, delivery, and service schedules.
- Prepare and serve meals using correct portioning, meeting CMS minimum standards, and ensuring that food is at the correct temperatures and is attractive.
- Maintain high standards for sanitation and cleanliness according to state guidelines.
This is a full-time hourly position that requires a minimum of 2 years of cooking experience, including short order cooking and batch cooking experience. ServSafe Certification is preferred, as well as knowledge of safety and sanitation in accordance with state and federal licensure.
- Requirements:
