About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and customer-focused Assistant Store Manager to join our team at Extra Space Storage. As a key member of our store operations team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service, driving sales growth, and maintaining a clean and organized store environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide outstanding customer service to ensure customer satisfaction and loyalty
  • Meet or exceed sales goals through unit rentals, unit insurance, and moving supplies
  • Guide new customers through rental processes and agreements
  • Maintain facilities, including sweeping, mopping, changing light bulbs, and other tasks
  • Work independently on daily tasks and collaborate with team members as needed
  • May be required to run errands for the facility and travel to other store locations
Requirements
  • 1+ year of customer-facing employment experience
  • Strong computer skills
  • Current, valid driver's license with access to a reliable personal vehicle (except in NYC)
  • High school diploma or GED equivalent
