We are seeking a seasoned and results-driven Business Development Director to join our team at Essen Medical Associates in the Bronx. In this role, you will be responsible for driving business growth, developing strategic partnerships, and expanding our presence in the outpatient healthcare industry.
Key Responsibilities- Establish and maintain relationships with referral sources, such as physicians, payers, and case managers.
- Work with business leaders to review and grow our business strategy.
- Monitor industry activities and develop competitive strategies.
- Develop and maintain long-term relationships with clients, strategic partners, and other stakeholders in the healthcare sector.
- Create short- and long-term plans to achieve goals and objectives for the business development department.
- Oversee the pre-admission function and other aspects of our business.
- Craft and deliver pitches and form relationships with customers from physicians to executive levels.
- Oversee the day-to-day activities of one or more functions within our business offices.
- Draft proposal narratives, create draft budgets to package proposals and reports appropriately.
- Work with team members, Executive Director, and Deputy Director to raise support from healthcare communities.
- Preparing business plans and budgets to present to management or clients.
- MBA is required.
- Proven experience within the healthcare industry, especially in nursing homes.
- Must be able to work in the field two days a week and be in the office three days a week.
- Excellent interpersonal, writing, and presentation, and persuasion skills.
- Minimum 3+ years experience or exposure to business management.
- Strong knowledge of healthcare regulations and compliance requirements, such as HIPAA, Medicare, and Medicaid.
- Excellent business and technical acumen and able to identify and seize opportunities.
- Detail-oriented and highly organized.
Salary: $100,000-$140,000
