SRE Manager, Services Engineering

We're seeking a seasoned Site Reliability Engineering Manager to lead our iCloud Services team. As a key member of our Services Engineering organization, you'll be responsible for ensuring the reliability and performance of our cloud-based services.
Key Responsibilities- Lead a team of SREs responsible for the reliability and performance of our on-prem and cloud-based services
- Develop and implement strategies to maximize uptimes and minimize downtime
- Advocate for best practices in reliability engineering and promote observability of systems for monitoring, alerting, and metrics reporting
- 5+ years of experience in an engineering leadership position, preferably in SRE or Production Engineering
- Strong understanding of core operating system principles, networking fundamentals, and systems management
- Experience with hiring and leading engineers
- Knowledge of SRE principles, including monitoring, alerting, error budgets, fault analysis, and other common reliability engineering concepts
At Apple, we offer a competitive salary range of $190,700 to $329,600, depending on your skills, qualifications, and experience. You'll also receive comprehensive medical and dental coverage, retirement benefits, and a range of discounted products and free services. Additionally, you may be eligible for discretionary bonuses or commission payments, as well as relocation assistance.
