Overview

SAN DIEGO ASSOCIATION OF GOVERNMENTS is seeking an experienced Administrative Coordinator to join our team. This is a unique opportunity to work in a dynamic and fast-paced environment, providing administrative support to the Board of Directors.

About the Role

This position will be responsible for managing public governing board support functions, including the development and maintenance of records and legal documents. You will also be coordinating meetings, scheduling appointments, and maintaining confidentiality of sensitive information.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage public governing board support functions.
  • Develop and implement effective procedures to ensure timely completion of tasks.
  • Maintain accurate records and files.
  • Coordinate travel requests and arrangements for Board Members.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university, with major coursework in public administration or a related field.
  • Seven years of increasingly responsible professional experience in managing public governing board support functions.
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills.
  • The ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information.
Salary and Benefits

The salary for this position is estimated to be around $123,000 per year, based on location and industry standards. We also offer a comprehensive benefits package, including hybrid work options, 9/80 flexible work schedule, pay-for-performance merit increases, retirement plan, health insurance options, dental and vision insurance, education assistance, free transit pass, and paid time off.
