Assertive Community Treatment Services for Youth (Youth ACT)

Woods Services is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Clinical Therapist to join our Assertive Community Treatment Services for Youth (Youth ACT) program. As a key member of our multidisciplinary mobile team, you will provide intensive and immediate access to treatment services in the community.

Program Overview

The Youth ACT program operates throughout Cape May and Atlantic County, serving youth ages 5-20 who present with significant mental health needs, challenging behaviors, and/or are at risk of psychiatric hospitalization or out of home care. Our team utilizes evidence-based practices and cutting-edge technology to provide comprehensive treatment and support.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide on-site family therapy and interact with the family and treatment team during the referral and admission process
  • Complete Biopsychosocial (BPS) assessments, intakes, and other required assessments
  • Develop cross-systems crisis prevention and intervention plans, comprehensive treatment and transition plans
  • Provide direct supervision of Behavioral Assistants and implement interventions and activities based on individual needs and ongoing assessment
  • Attend and facilitate treatment team meetings, share on-call responsibilities, and provide coordinated support with program staff

Requirements

  • Provisional licensure in NJ; LAC, LSW
  • One-year experience working with youth within family systems and 1 year experience working with people who have mental health and/or co-occurring behavioral health needs including complex trauma

We offer a competitive salary, starting at $65,000 annually, depending on education, experience, and licensure.
