Pediatric Speech Therapist Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Pediatric Speech Therapist to join our team at Northfield Hospital + Clinics. As a Pediatric Speech Therapist, you will provide diagnostic and therapeutic services to pediatric clients with speech, language, hearing, or swallowing disorders.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage daily activities of speech-language services, including scheduling, documentation, materials, and equipment.
  • Complete documentation to meet professional standards based on evaluation.
  • Perform diagnostic evaluations and provide written reports as necessary for the medical record and third-party payers.
  • Provide direct patient care within accepted standards of care in accordance with ASHA regulations.
  • Educate patients, families, and caregivers relative to the goals, methods used, and how to perform home programs as needed.
Requirements:
  • Master's Degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited university.
  • Certificate of Clinical Competence from the American Speech-Language Hearing Association and licensed to practice in the State of Minnesota.
  • Current American Heart Association BLS for Healthcare Providers Certification or obtained within 6 months of hire date.
