Cardiac Transplant RN

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Cardiac Transplant RN to join our team at Providence St. Vincent Medical Center. As a Cardiac Transplant RN, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional patient care and contributing to the success of our Cardiac Transplant Program.
Responsibilities- Provide direct patient care to cardiac transplant patients, including pre- and post-operative care, medication management, and wound care.
- Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to develop and implement individualized care plans that meet the unique needs of each patient.
- Monitor and report any changes in patient condition, including cardiac function, medication side effects, and wound healing.
- Participate in ongoing education and training to stay current on best practices and advancements in cardiac transplant care.
- Contribute to the development and implementation of quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient outcomes and satisfaction.
- Current RN licensure in the state of Oregon.
- 1 year of experience in cardiac transplant nursing or a related field.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
- Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification within 6 months of hire.
