Job Summary

The Student-Technology Services Aide is a part-time, temporary position responsible for providing exceptional customer service as an assistant to the Technology Services Department. The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication skills, a strong ability to work independently, and a willingness to learn and adapt to new technologies.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide exceptional customer service to students, faculty, and staff, responding to inquiries and resolving issues in a timely and professional manner.
  • Assist with maintaining, installing, and operating computer, audio/video, instructional, and event support equipment.
  • Perform administrative and clerical duties, including answering phones, greeting customers, and maintaining a clean and organized workspace.
  • Contribute to the technological support for college faculty, staff, students, and community members, including troubleshooting and resolving technical issues.
Requirements
  • Enrollment at Cochise College with a minimum of 6 credits per semester and 3 credits in the summer.
  • Possess and maintain a 2.0 G.P.A. or higher.
  • Students attending Cochise College on an F-1 Visa require full-time enrollment with a minimum of 12 credits per semester and six credits in the summer.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Knowledge of current technologies, operating systems, computer/audio-visual hardware, and software.
  • Ability to communicate effectively, verbally and in writing, and to relate to others in a professional, helpful manner.
  • Ability to work independently while contributing to a team environment.
