The Role

We are seeking a driven Logistics Team Leader to motivate, inspire, and support our Delivery Professionals (contracted drivers) in achieving daily success. This pivotal position involves hands-on engagement with our Delivery Professionals and collaboration with various cross-functional teams to foster positive delivery experiences.

Your Responsibilities

  1. Lead: Guide, mentor, and retain a high-performing team of Delivery Professionals. Cultivate a positive culture and ensure high driver retention rates. Collaborate with Operations Managers and Allocators to establish high standards and promote continuous improvement.
  2. Own: Manage the execution and communication of driver value propositions, benefits, and retention strategies. Ensure that driver teams receive adequate training and support to thrive.
  3. Delight Customers: Lead your teams in delivering exceptional customer experiences at every interaction, from initial loading at customer sites to the final delivery. Maintain key quality metrics and collaborate with operations to equip your team with necessary tools and resources.
  4. Strategize: Utilize data to identify inefficiencies within delivery teams and processes. Work with operations to design and implement process improvement initiatives that enhance both driver and customer experiences.
  5. Safety: Promote a culture of safety across ANC. Collaborate with Delivery Professionals and the operations team to ensure the implementation of robust safety initiatives.

Your Profile

You are enthusiastic, energetic, and highly motivated, with a flexible attitude suited for a diverse environment. You possess strong communication skills and have experience in enhancing driver engagement levels. A background in the transport industry, with a solid understanding of transport operations and services, is essential. Proficiency in technology and computer applications, including Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint, is also required.
