Job Title: Radiation Therapist

Inova Health System is seeking a skilled Radiation Therapist to join our team in Arlington, Virginia.

Job Summary

We are looking for a highly motivated and detail-oriented individual to work in our Radiation Oncology department. The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering high-quality radiation therapy treatments to patients with cancer.

Key Responsibilities
  • Administer radiation treatments to patients using linear accelerators and other equipment.
  • Conduct simulation procedures to verify proper functioning of equipment and ensure accurate patient setup.
  • Communicate effectively with patients, families, medical staff, and other healthcare team members.
  • Collaborate with radiation oncologists and other healthcare professionals to develop treatment plans.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by supervisors.
Requirements
  • Associate degree in a related field.
  • American Registered Radiologic Technologist certification or registry eligibility within one year of employment.
  • Basic Life Support certification required upon start.
