Job Summary:We are looking for a highly motivated and experienced Radiation Therapist 2 to provide high-quality patient care and treatment in our Radiation Oncology department.
Key Responsibilities:- Communicate effectively with patients, families, medical staff, and healthcare team members to ensure seamless care coordination.
- Administer radiation treatments accurately and safely, using linear accelerators and patient simulation equipment.
- Maintain accurate records of daily treatments and other required documentation.
- Collaborate with the healthcare team to develop and implement treatment plans.
- Participate in ongoing education and training to stay up-to-date with the latest radiation therapy techniques and technologies.
- Associate's degree in Radiation Therapy or Certification.
- 2 years of experience as a Staff Therapist in a Radiation Therapy department, with experience in linear accelerators and patient simulation.
- American Registered Radiologic Technologist (ARRT) certification required upon start.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association (AHA) required upon start.
- License Radiologic Technologist (RT) required for PROC.
- VA License highly preferred.
