Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Electrical Systems Engineer to join our team at Transform Automotive. As a key member of our manufacturing team, you will be responsible for implementing solutions to various assembly and transformational product processes.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and implement efficient and flexible electrical systems for our manufacturing processes
  • Research and develop innovative solutions to improve process efficiency and reduce maintenance costs
  • Integrate and program electrical systems and equipment to ensure seamless operation
  • Develop user interfaces for operators and integrate them into our Manufacturing Execution System (MES)
  • Develop engineered solutions to repetitive equipment failures and maintenance problems
  • Perform predictive and preventive maintenance to reduce downtime and improve overall equipment effectiveness
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and implement process improvements
  • Develop and maintain technical documentation and procedures
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related field
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in plant maintenance with a strong background in electrical systems and related software
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to apply root cause analysis principles
  • Knowledge of electrical, pneumatic, and mechanical schematics/prints and how these systems interact within an assembly process
  • Ability to adapt and learn new electrical systems technology and software
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills
