Essential Functions:
- Facilitate the check-in and check-out process for guests.
- Provide accurate and relevant information to guests and visitors.
- Utilize computer systems to input and retrieve information using electronic and numerical codes.
- Select appropriate accommodations based on guests' preferences and requirements.
- Address guest inquiries and resolve issues, escalating complaints to management when necessary.
- Maintain composure and attentiveness during busy periods and emergencies.
- Answer phone calls professionally and clearly, documenting guest requests and concerns in the system.
- Adhere to brand and service standards, ensuring all expectations are met.
- Effectively engage with both internal and external customers, demonstrating patience and diplomacy to resolve conflicts.
- Provide information about local attractions, hotel amenities, and services.
- Greet and welcome guests upon their arrival.
- Perform additional tasks as assigned.
Position Requirements:
- Ability to stand and move throughout the front office while performing essential job functions.
- Effective communication skills in English, both spoken and written.
- Proficient in accessing and accurately entering information into a moderately complex computer system.
- Ability to observe and respond to signs of emergencies with keen hearing and vision.
- High school diploma or equivalent is required.
