Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Nuclear Medicine Technologist to join our team at the University of Miami Hospital. As a Nuclear Medicine Technologist, you will be responsible for performing a variety of diagnostic imaging procedures using radioactive materials. Your expertise will be essential in providing high-quality patient care and contributing to the success of our Radiology department.

Key Responsibilities
  • Verify patient identity and obtain necessary consents
  • Perform Nuclear Medicine procedures under the direction of a Radiologist
  • Supervise and assist patients during imaging procedures
  • Maintain proper sterile techniques and aseptic procedures
  • Assist with administrative duties, including reviewing daily financials and making schedules
Requirements
  • High School diploma or equivalent
  • Graduate of a Nuclear Medicine Technology accredited program
  • NMTCB or ARRT-N registered
  • Valid State of Florida License as a Nuclear Medicine Technologist
  • CPR and BLS certification
  • One year of relevant experience
