About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Nuclear Medicine Technologist to join our team at the University of Miami Hospital. As a key member of our Nuclear Medicine Imaging Services department, you will play a critical role in providing exceptional patient care and contributing to the success of our team.

Key Responsibilities
  • Verify patient identification and obtain necessary consents
  • Supervise and perform Nuclear Medicine procedures under the direction of a Radiologist
  • Notify appropriate personnel of any changes in patient status and maintain proper sterile techniques
  • Assist the Radiologist with procedures and ensure proper radiopharmaceutical handling
  • Utilize aseptic technique for radiopharmaceutical injections and select optimum instruments for imaging
  • Perform related duties as assigned, including administrative tasks and daily workflow management
Requirements
  • High School diploma or equivalent
  • Graduate of a Nuclear Medicine Technology accredited program
  • NMTCB or ARRT-N registered
  • Valid State of Florida License as a Nuclear Medicine Technologist
  • CPR and BLS certification
  • One year of relevant experience
