Job Title: Commercial Construction Superintendent

Michael Page is seeking an experienced Commercial Construction Superintendent to join our team in Austin, TX.

About the Role:

We are looking for a highly skilled and organized individual to oversee the construction process, ensuring projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Plan and coordinate construction activities, including project scheduling, logistics, and resource allocation.
  • Monitor and control costs, including general conditions, subcontractor draws, and field expenses.
  • Administer project administration tasks, such as producing daily activity reports, updating project schedules, and maintaining as-built drawings.
  • Foster a collaborative and informative relationship among the construction team, subcontractors, and management.
  • Ensure compliance with safety policies, procedures, and OSHA guidelines, conducting regular safety meetings and inspections.
  • Oversee field operations, including construction progress, compliance with plans and specifications, and punch lists.
  • Develop and implement strategies to improve construction efficiency, quality, and safety.
Requirements:
  • Minimum 5 years of construction experience, with at least 5 years of supervisory experience.
  • Strong communication and leadership skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
  • Experience with construction sequencing, ASIs, RFIs, and material submittals.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, MS Project, and Procore.
  • OSHA 30 certification and a valid driver's license.
