Program Overview:
This initiative aims to enhance the applicant pool for clinical nursing positions by providing recruitment incentives to eligible candidates. The incentives will be disbursed in quarterly installments throughout the first year of employment, commencing after the initial quarter.

New hires accepting these bonuses must commit to two consecutive years of service with DOS. Referral bonuses will also be distributed in quarterly installments over the first year of the referred employee's tenure.

Key Responsibilities:
This role involves delivering nursing and therapeutic support while executing treatment plans devised by professional staff. Responsibilities include:
- Mentoring and orienting newly hired or less experienced staff.
- Leading individual and group therapeutic sessions focusing on reality orientation and sensory stimulation.
- Participating in interdisciplinary care teams to provide insights on individual health and behavior.
- Ensuring the integrity of feeding and medical devices while assisting with personal hygiene.
- Monitoring vital signs and reporting significant changes to professional staff.
- Conducting safety rounds to ensure the well-being of clients.
- Documenting and reporting unusual incidents.
- Assisting individuals during social and medical appointments.
- Implementing interventions to manage challenging behaviors.

Qualifications:
Applicants must possess a Delaware certification as a Nursing Assistant or be eligible for certification. This position is part of a collective bargaining agreement that governs employment terms.
