Occupational Therapist

We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Occupational Therapist to join our team at The McHenry County ROE Application Consortium. As an Occupational Therapist, you will play a vital role in providing therapy services to students with diverse needs.
Job Summary:The successful candidate will be responsible for conducting comprehensive assessments, developing and implementing individualized therapy plans, and collaborating with educators, parents, and interdisciplinary professionals to ensure the best possible outcomes for our students.
Key Responsibilities:- Conduct assessments to identify students' strengths and areas for improvement
- Develop and implement individualized therapy plans to address students' needs
- Collaborate with educators, parents, and interdisciplinary professionals to ensure effective communication and coordination of services
- Provide therapy services to students in individual and group settings
- Monitor and document students' progress towards targeted objectives
- Master's degree in occupational therapy from an accredited institution or a Bachelor's degree in occupational therapy supplemented with relevant school-based experience
- Valid state licensure as an occupational therapist in good standing
- Certification from the National Board for Certification in Occupational Therapy (NBCOT)
- Preferential consideration given to candidates with prior experience working with children in educational environments
