We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Home Health Occupational Therapist Assistant to join our team. As a Home Health Occupational Therapist Assistant, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality patient care and support to individuals in their homes.
Job Responsibilities:- Assess patients' condition and develop a plan of care in collaboration with the supervising OTR
- Perform home health visits and provide therapeutic procedures through ADL/IADL performance
- Document patient care services and progress/decline in electronic systems
- Report patient progress to patient/caregivers/physician/agency office as needed
- Must be 18 years or older and have successfully completed a FL-approved COTA associate's degree program from an industry-accredited institution
- Must have reliable transportation and proof of auto insurance
- Must successfully complete a Level II background check prior to offer and initiation of training
- Must complete a competency check and all orientation prior to initiating patient care
- Current FL State COTA license is required; Current NBCOT certification is required
We serve the following counties: Lake, Sumter, Citrus, and Hernando. This is a per diem, contract (1099) position. If you are a motivated and compassionate individual who is passionate about providing high-quality patient care, we encourage you to apply.
