- Project Oversight: Supervise the planning, execution, and completion of all skincare contract manufacturing initiatives, guaranteeing that Project Managers receive the necessary support and direction to achieve successful results.
- Project Tracker Supervision: Manage the Project Managers' project trackers to ensure that launch timelines and sales forecasts are current and accurately represented in project documentation.
- Gate Review Management: Oversee the Project Managers' Gate Reviews (Line Trial Reviews) to confirm that all R&D, Quality, Production, and Operations criteria are met and thoroughly assessed before proceeding.
- Client Engagement: Act as a primary escalation point for client issues, ensuring that Project Managers maintain transparent and constructive communication with clients and effectively resolve any challenges that arise.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Collaborate with the Senior Director of Business Development and other departmental leaders to align project management strategies with overarching business objectives. Facilitate teamwork between Project Managers and other divisions, including R&D, Operations, and Quality.
- Process Enhancement: Spearhead initiatives aimed at continuously refining project management processes and methodologies, empowering Project Managers to operate more efficiently and effectively.
- Risk Assessment: Assist Project Managers in identifying and mitigating potential risks, ensuring that issues are proactively addressed to maintain project timelines and quality standards.
- Financial Oversight: Manage project budgets, collaborating closely with Project Managers to ensure financial targets are achieved and resources are allocated appropriately.
- Performance Reporting: Provide regular updates to the Senior Director of Business Development regarding project status, team performance, and client satisfaction. Ensure compliance with established metrics and performance benchmarks.
Qualifications:
- Education: Bachelor's degree in Business, Project Management, or a related discipline.
- Experience: A minimum of 5-8 years in project management, including at least 2 years in a senior management capacity within the skincare or cosmetics contract manufacturing sector.
- Leadership Skills: Proven success in leading and supporting teams, with a strong dedication to developing and mentoring Project Managers.
- Project Management Expertise: Demonstrated proficiency in project management, encompassing planning, scheduling, budgeting, and resource allocation.
- Communication Skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities, with the capacity to build relationships, manage client interactions, and promote collaboration across teams.
- Analytical Skills: Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities, with a proactive approach to identifying and addressing challenges.
- Industry Knowledge: Familiarity with skincare manufacturing processes, industry regulations, and quality standards. OTC knowledge is preferred.
- Certifications: PMP or similar project management certification is preferred but not mandatory.
