Market Data Support Analyst

At Syntricate Technologies, we are seeking a skilled Market Data Support Analyst to join our team in New York. In this role, you will play a crucial part in maintaining the efficiency of our market data operations and supporting the growth of our global financial market initiatives.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Technical Support: Provide support for market data infrastructure and customers, ensuring the efficient delivery of data to and from major vendors.
  • Customer Service: Deliver high-quality customer service, ensuring that reported issues are addressed promptly and professionally.
  • Incident Management: Manage and prioritize busy incident management and request queues, collaborating with global teams to ensure timely resolution.
  • Data Management: Perform data entry for customer data onboarding and classification of financial instruments, ensuring accuracy and compliance with predefined criteria.
  • Monitoring and Troubleshooting: Monitor and troubleshoot data systems, utilizing Linux & Windows skills to interrogate log files and collaborate with network and infrastructure teams to diagnose and resolve production issues.
  • Reporting: Generate weekly incident and request reports to track performance and identify areas for improvement.

Requirements:

  • A Bachelor's degree in a relevant field, with a strong understanding of financial markets and market data.
  • 2 years+ of experience in supporting market data infrastructure.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to resolve issues in a timely manner.
  • Customer service expertise to deliver professional and efficient support, along with strong communication and interpersonal skills for effective collaboration with both internal teams and clients.
  • Experience with electronic trading platforms in Fixed Income or Foreign Exchange.
  • SQL skills to query databases for the retrieval of large historical datasets.
  • Scripting skills to automate, such as Python, Shell scripts, and PowerShell.
  • Familiarity with time series databases like OneTick or KDB, and monitoring systems, like ITRS.
