Job Title: PT EMT Instructor

Foothill-De Anza Community College District is seeking a qualified candidate to join our team as a Part-Time EMT Instructor. The successful candidate will be responsible for teaching EMT courses and contributing to the development of our students.

Job Summary:

The EMT Instructor will be responsible for teaching EMT courses, evaluating student work, and participating in the assessment of their performance. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of EMT principles and practices, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work effectively with students and colleagues.

Responsibilities:
  • Teach EMT courses and develop curriculum materials
  • Evaluate student work and provide feedback
  • Participate in the assessment of student performance and program evaluation
  • Contribute to the development of EMT courses and programs
Requirements:
  • Master's degree in a related field or equivalent experience
  • Current EMT certification and experience in the field
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work effectively with students and colleagues
Working Conditions:

The EMT Instructor will work in an indoor office environment and will be required to stand, walk, and sit for extended periods. The position requires the ability to lift and carry objects up to 20 pounds.
