The Respiratory Care Manager position is responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of the respiratory department, ensuring clinical quality and patient satisfaction. Key Responsibilities- Supervise and manage respiratory care staff, ensuring adequate staffing and scheduling
- Develop and implement quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient outcomes and customer satisfaction
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure optimal patient care and satisfaction
- Participate in unit, hospital, and system-based committees and performance improvement initiatives
- Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and standards
- Bachelor's degree in Respiratory Therapy or related healthcare field
- Current and unrestricted State of Texas Respiratory Care Practitioners license and Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) certification from the National Board for Respiratory Care, Inc (NBRC)
- Minimum of five (5) years respiratory care experience in a hospital setting, with at least three (3) years of critical care experience
- Minimum of three (3) years of supervisory and/or management experience required
