Respiratory Care Clinical Leader

Job SummaryThe Respiratory Care Clinical Leader will be responsible for the clinical leadership and management of the Respiratory Care department, including program development, performance improvement activities, and clinical quality monitoring. This individual will also provide expert respiratory advice and recommendations to physicians and other staff.
Key Responsibilities- Supervise the daily operations and staff of the Respiratory Care department
- Provide leadership in the absence of the department director or manager
- Ensure effective communication between staff and department leadership
- Assist with maintaining department supplies and equipment
- Prepare and distribute shift assignments
- Monitor staff performance and assist with re-direction and education
- Mentor/lead/train lesser experienced practitioners
- Develop, implement, and manage new programs/policies
- Monitor and manage clinical quality for selected services
- Provide expert respiratory advice and recommendations to physicians and other staff
