Key Responsibilities
The primary responsibility of this role is to assemble products according to specifications in a timely manner to fulfill customer requirements. You will perform assembly tasks and identify opportunities for process improvements to enhance efficiency.
- Assemble parts and components to create new products while adhering to the Bill of Materials (BOM).
- Verify the correct quantities of components and conduct quality checks on finished items.
- Understand basic ERP systems, computer usage, and scheduling needs.
- Follow technical instructions and accurately interpret BOM.
- Test completed products for defects.
- Handle products carefully to prevent damage or mishandling.
- Conduct quality spot checks with appropriate documentation.
- Ensure all tasks assigned by the production lead/supervisor are completed safely and efficiently, meeting company quality standards.
- Maintain a clean and organized workspace, free from debris and waste.
- Perform additional duties as required.
Note: Responsibilities may vary based on the assigned station, and employees will typically rotate through various stations.
Qualifications
- Familiarity with production procedures, policies, goals, and objectives.
- Strong attention to detail and excellent hand-eye coordination.
- Proficient in using tools such as wire strippers, pliers, and wrenches.
- Adhere strictly to safety policies and procedures.
- Ability to work collaboratively within a team and engage with other departments.
- Capable of distinguishing between colored wires, tabs, and electronic components.
- Adept at interpreting technical documentation.
